AI-based Asian news aggregation platform

In recent years, the wave of anti-globalization has deepened, with countries introducing new protectionist measures, and trade friction, particularly between the world’s two largest economies—China and the United States—has intensified. In this context, maintaining open communication and eliminating misunderstandings have become especially important to prevent regional conflicts from escalating into a hot war between nuclear-armed nations, which would plunge the world into even greater turmoil and an irreversible situation.

As the world’s leading power, the United States has the well-known Fifth Amendment, which protects freedom of speech under the law. However, in many Asian countries, including China, due to differences in historical, cultural, and political systems, news and information are not always as free and open.

In the past, under the backdrop of globalization, U.S. media had a large number of correspondents stationed in major countries around the world. However, since the escalation of the U.S.-China trade friction in 2018, both countries have gradually reduced or nearly halted the issuance of work visas for news media, leading to a decline in professional media coverage and an increase in rumors on social media, deepening misunderstandings.

Asia is the region with the fastest economic growth, and much of the U.S. supply chain is concentrated in Asia. The Asia-Pacific region is linguistically diverse and geopolitically complex, making it even more crucial to obtain political, economic, and social information quickly and accurately.

With the development of AI, the ability to gather and process information has greatly improved, and language translation barriers will gradually be eliminated. The accessibility and convenience of serious, professional media reports will steadily increase. An AI-based platform for integrating Asian news media will fill the gap in the U.S. market.
